Broadcaster

For ten years, Flip talked about food on 3RRR's "Eat It" with Cam Smith, and The Breakfasters (with Kate Langbroek, James Young, Chris Hatzis, Fee B2, Sam Pang and Tony Wilson), waaaay before Melbourne’s food obsession had gone mainstream.

She then spent seven years talking about TV on 3AW daily with Neil Mitchell and Weekends with Denis Walter; as well as 4BC's morning (Greg Cary), afternoon (Peter Dick) and weekend (Ian Maurice) shows.

For the last two decades, Flip has talked about food and fitness on every radio stations on both the AM and FM Bands across Australia hoping to inspire everyone of any age to improve their food choices and increase their appreciation of food – one mouthful at a time!

Flip co-hosted "Summer Feast" on Saturdays on 3AW with Darren James and Kevin John for five weeks in 2016/17; 2017/18 and 2018/19.

Flip has most recently been chatting on 774 Weekends Program with the irrepressible and inquisitive Libbi Gorr.

Muesli maker

From 2001, Flip searched in vain for muesli she liked. When she began training for 'Ironman' events (3.8 km swim, 180 km bike ride, 42 km run) her need for food for energy and recovery became critical. Sick of waiting for a 'big' brand to get muesli right, Flip decided to do it herself.

In February 2006, she launched her own natural muesli range.

Today, as a parent and business owner, food is just as important to Flip. She's learnt that no matter what your age or occupation, you need a delicious and nutritious breakfast to get the most from yourself.

To this end, Flip has made it easy to 'eat like a king at breakfast' (an ancient yogi philosophy she subscribes to). Her natural breakfast range now includes six mueslis (including a gluten-free blend) and a five-grain porridge. And there's more on the way!

Yoga Teacher

After practicing yoga for 20 years, Flip completed a 350-hour Advanced Diploma in Yoga Teacher Training at the Australian Yoga Academy and is currently completing an 80-hour Meditation Teacher course.

Flip has completed a short course in Teaching Breath, Mindfulness and Movement for Youth (2011); and a Certificate in Teaching Mindfulness to Children Levels 1 & 2 run by Anne Love at The Australian Yoga Academy (2019). That same year she attended a Workshop on Nutritional Psychiatry at Deakin University by Professor Felice Jacka.

Flip's new yoga website has just launched.  www.flowwithflip.com.au

Mum

Flip is mum to 12-year old Harvey. They love cooking together and Harvey is currently creating a new muesli blend and is busy taste tasting his unique ingredient combinations…which includes a teaspoon of Vegemite!

Garlic Grower

Flip and her husband Jeff are passionate about garlic and its provenance (due to the nasties and fly-miles associated with imported garlic).  For the last three years they have been planting thousands of garlic bulbs in NE Victoria to build up stock to become artisan garlic growers.
